CYMRU (WALES)

When I return to my country
Wings tired after their journey
To see those treasures I set sail to seek
Gladly will I bless and kiss this windswept land
Where shadows rest with proudest signs
Of what was once so grand.

The hills shall sing and leap with joy
As I embrace their weathered breasts:
In an agony of tenderness.
The waves shall trace their endless
Echo, across the misty, lovely vales:
Along the lonely shores of Wales.
